Regulation

• To Make sure children don't see inappropriate shows as it may be traumatising.
• The watershed is a voluntary time that channels agree to show more things that children shouldn't watch.
• Mass Media 
• Passive audience theory- people will just let them.

Ofcom

• Regulation comes down to harm and offence of the under 18s.
• 'Ofcom is required to assess the likelihood of material encouraging or inciting the commission of crime or of leading to disorder'
• Peter Lunt & Sonia Livingstone- Theory of regulation, they believe that regulation is redundant as people can go on the internet as the internet isn't regulated
• Self regulation is where the parents can prevent their children watching certain things by putting a pin number on it.

Humans 

• Air rifle being shown shooting a synth, which could be quite harmful and promote crime as this gun is very easy to get ahold of.

Henry Jenkins- Fandom 

• Textual Poaching.
• Shipping- when you think two people should be in a relationship even though they never were in the first place.
• Fandom refers to a particularly organised and motivated audience of a certain media producer franchise.
• Unlike the generic audience or the classic spectator, fans are active participants in the construction and circulation of textual meanings
• Fans appropriate texts and read them in ways that are not fully intended by the media producers (‘textual poaching’). Examples of this may manifest in conventions, fan fiction and so on
• Rather than just play a videogame or watch a TV show, fans construct their social and cultural identities through borrowing and utilising mass culture images, and may use this ‘subcultural capital’ to form social bonds. For example, through online forums like Reddit or 4chan.
• A fan is a more enthusiastic audience member.
• A fan sub which is a subtitle file made for a foreign TV show or film made by a fan. 

Differences between the English and Swedish

• The families are different as in the British are very stereotypical in the way they are represented as the little girl is very innocent, the boy thinks sexually but not as seriously its more of a jokey way the producers going for, and the teenager is a bitch in the English version.
• In the Swedish version the family is a very stereotypical European family but also they are quite blunt with how they speak and act. 
• The Swedish version has very darker themes to deal with such as some of the scenes are quite horror like such as the scene where one of the 'hubots' kills a couple.   
• Swedish version reflects the society such as unpaid factory workers and Sex trafficking.
