Woman Relaunch Advert
- Still about cooking and women in the kitchen 'high street cookery competition'
- She is dressed up and ready to go out. This contrasts with the maternal woman on the 1960s on the front cover
- The masthead is different, the font has completely changed was naive now its full on and it seems informal and a more gossipy mode of address.
- The competition with 4 cars, if this was in the 1960s then the idea of a women driving would not exist whereas in the 1980s its not anything much different.
- It still has the same ideology and it is not completely progressive as they are still giving away kitchens.
- Working class is still the target audience so not much has changed due to the clothing they've used to advertise
- 'exciting again' shows the 1964 edition was not good enough so they changed to become exciting again.
Promotional material from the Time Inc UK profile page for Woman
- This is not for the reader it is for the advertisers.
- This is selling audiences, the advertisers which would be interested in woman magazine.
- The brand identity is more adventurous these days.
- The brand identity could still be seen as the same.
